Our story
Out of the woods, into Berlin
Pfand was born one cool autumn evening in the Canadian wilderness where these two Berlin-based electronic music producers met together, and upon discovering their shared ideologies
in sound, sketched out their concept for a new Berlin-based label. The pair behind the plan are Yapacc (Uwe George Giegler) and Hali (Hal Wong).

Join our 2nd annual Pfand Houseboat Teaparty in Amsterdam
Ahoy matey! We are excited to announce our second annual Pfand teaparty aboard our lovely Amsterdam Houseboat during ADE weekend. Running on Saturday October 22, 2016 from noon until midnight, featuring Pfand artists Yapacc, Hali, pan/tone, and Souki alongside Meriem and Alex Pietrzak.
All attendees must RSVP to receive the location and event details. Capacity at this event is strictly limited to 120 people so you better be quick to RSVP!

Souki - Hot Jupiter

Third time is always a charm and this time, we bring Souki with her stellar release Hot Jupiter. The outofthisworld title track, cowritten by The Hubrist, features an eerie extraterrestial backdrop captured by the Deep Space array by NASA. Also an upbeat remix by The Cabin. The B Side is packed with two stunning minimal tracks entitled Chicxulup and Korona. And rounding out the release is the beautiful and atmosphereic Etna which serves as a fitting way to close out this gorgeous EP.
